Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing the FutureWell platform, registering a student account, or using our academic materials, result sheet and CGPA services, workshop rooms, and mentorship booking systems, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. We record the date you accept them. If you do not accept these terms, please discontinue using the platform.

2. Student Accounts & Platform Security

• Eligibility: Account registration is intended for engineering students, faculty, and academic candidates seeking university enablement.
• Profile Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate details, including your full name, University Seat Number (USN), college, engineering branch, semester, and syllabus scheme (e.g., 2022/2024 Scheme).
• Your Own USN: Add only your own USN. Each USN can be linked to one account, and the same student should not hold multiple accounts.
• Credentials & Sessions: Keep your login credentials confidential. For your protection, sessions last up to 2 hours and you are logged out automatically after 30 minutes of inactivity.

3. VTU Study Hub & Intellectual Property

All VTU module notes (Modules 1–5), syllabus copies, question banks, and lab manuals provided on FutureWell are for personal, non-commercial academic study:

• Students may view, download, and store copies strictly for individual exam revision and coursework.
• Redistributing, selling, automated scraping, or bulk-mirroring platform materials onto commercial paywalled portals without prior written consent is strictly prohibited.

4. USN, Result Sheet & CGPA Services

FutureWell uses your USN to help you see your CGPA and semester results on your profile, as described in the Privacy Policy:

• Authorization: By adding your USN, you authorize our academic team to use it to check your published VTU results, set your CGPA, and assign your semester marks card links to your account.
• Team-Assisted & Timing: Results are handled by our team rather than fetched instantly. Marks cards appear in your Result Sheet tab semester by semester once released, and some semesters may show as processing for a while.
• Informational Only: CGPA and marks cards are informational guidance and may contain errors or lag behind official releases and revaluations. Always verify them against your official VTU grade cards, which prevail in any difference. Contact us to get a mistake corrected.
• Self-Entered CGPA: A CGPA you enter yourself is self-reported. You must enter it truthfully, and it may be replaced by the value our team sets after checking your results.
• Own Records Only: Do not use the service to access, store, or share anyone else's results. Marks card links are for your personal use, so do not alter or forward them.

5. Verification, Referrals & Passing Packages

• Verified Status: Verification is granted only by FutureWell administrators, for example after you reach the invite target. Completing your profile does not verify your account automatically.
• Passing Packages: Downloadable Passing Packages (Cheat Codes) are available to verified students only, and download links are for personal study use.
• Referrals: An invited friend counts once they complete their profile with USN, college, and branch, and each student can be counted only once. Fake accounts, self-referrals, or other manipulation may lead to removal of referral credit, loss of verification, or suspension.

6. Live Skill Workshops & Community Code of Conduct

Participation in free student skill workshops, webinar rooms, and student WhatsApp communities requires academic etiquette:

• Registered participants are granted access links to live interactive meeting rooms. Harassment, disruptive behaviour, or unauthorized commercial promotions during sessions will result in immediate access revocation.
• Live session recordings and supplementary repository links remain the intellectual property of the session instructors and FutureWell.

7. Mini & Final Year Project Mentorship

Our project guidance services (including IEEE topic selection, architecture design, and code debugging) are structured to assist learning:

• Mentorship provides advisory guidance, review, and troubleshooting assistance. It does not replace independent academic effort or university submission guidelines.
• Students are solely responsible for ensuring their submissions adhere to their institution’s academic integrity and anti-plagiarism standards.

8. Internship Listings & Third-Party Opportunities

FutureWell indexes verified technical internship opportunities and placement roadmaps. While we strive to verify listings, FutureWell does not act as an employer and cannot guarantee selection, interview callbacks, or stipends. Students are encouraged to exercise independent judgment before applying to external partner portals.

9. Academic Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

FutureWell is an independent student enablement initiative. Unless explicitly stated, we are not an official administrative division of Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU). Resources, including CGPA values and marks cards, are provided on an "as-is" basis and do not replace official VTU records. Users are encouraged to cross-reference university notifications for official circulars, results, and timetables.

10. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or remove accounts that provide false information, misuse another student's USN or results, manipulate referrals, scrape or redistribute materials, or breach the community code of conduct. You may ask us to delete your account at any time as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Notifications, Phone Alerts & Streaks

Phone (browser push) alerts are optional. They start only after you tap "Turn on alerts" and allow notifications in your browser, and you can turn them off at any time from your account page or your browser settings. If you turn them on, you agree that FutureWell may send you alerts about new notes, question papers, VTU circulars, streak reminders, workshops, internships and account updates, and that an administrator may send a message to you individually or to a group such as your branch or semester.

Alerts are sent for study and account purposes only, never for advertising by third parties. Study streaks, FW Tokens and unlocks are features of the platform with no cash value; we may adjust, reset or withdraw them if they are misused, including by automated or duplicate activity. Banned accounts do not receive notifications.
